Ms. Corton established Hillcrest Finance in 2013 and serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. In this capacity, she oversees the origination, underwriting, and debt asset management functions and works with Ms. Miller on investment strategy, vehicle development, and execution. Additionally, she oversees accounting and finance, and supports corporate and investor-related matters. Ms. Corton has 37 years of real estate investment experience focusing on debt investing.

 

Before establishing Hillcrest, she was Co-Owner of Brickman & Associates, a New York City-based vertically integrated real estate equity and debt investment management firm. While at Brickman, she was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and oversaw over $1B of both debt investments and property-level financing. Previously, Ms. Corton was Executive Managing Director and Head of the U.S. Real Estate Loan Originations national team at Nomura Asset Capital Corporation. She was responsible for managing a team that originated over $12B in senior and mezzanine loans as well as managing the firm’s national intermediary relationships. Ms. Corton began her career in commercial real estate finance as an Associate at a regional broker-dealer in New York City.

 

Ms. Corton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Board of Governors of CRE Finance Council.
